Scenic Cableway

The Cableway is the steepest cable car in Australia, and carries passengers between cliff top and the ancient Jamison Valley.  There they can walk through a magnificent rainforest on an elevated boardwalk.  Another way of getting in and out of the valley is via the world’s steepest railway.  Most visitors go down on one and return on the other. 
 
Getting to Scenic World from Lilianfels involves a five minute walk followed by a ride across the Katoomba gorge on the Scenic Skyway, with its partially glass floor that allows you to enjoy the scenery almost a thousand feet below.
 
Scenic World is open 9.00am-5.00pm every day of the year.
