Adventure Team Building
Abseiling the Super Jump
If you want some excitement in your life, try this one! After a thorough morning of preparation on abseils up to 30 metres and a nutritious lunch, you’ll launch yourself over a 20 storey overhang. Enjoy the fantastic views, while the adrenaline pumps through your body as you descend to the valley floor, 60 metres below you. The walk back follows a beautiful fern lined gully. |
Climb your way to the top!
Rock climbing builds an inherent bond between the climber and belayer, which makes it an excellent backdrop for creating experiential team building activities. Take your team out of their comfort zone and test the ability of the group to work towards a common goal in the face of adversity. |
Horse Riding in the Megalong Valley
Saddle up and take your team on an orienteering adventure in the beautiful Megalong Valley, taking in the views of towering escarpments and looking out for the fascinating Australian wildlife along the way. Working together in your intimate teams, solve a number of tricky clues and seemingly worthless directions to complete the challenge. Ideal for building your teams time management, delegation and leadership skills. All rides are accompanied by experienced guides. Leave the horsing around to the experts, and combine your trail ride adventures with an ‘Evening at the Races’ (please review our dinner options for more information). |
Adventure race around Katoomba
Steer your team through a series of challenges as they race around Katoomba by any means possible.
The objective for each team is to be the first to complete the race, through a series of mental and physical challenges around Katoomba. Your transport will include bus, train, gondola, cycles as well as on foot.
The Adventure Race is tailor made to suit your team building requirements. Ideal for groups of 15 all the way to 80 delegates. |
Lost in the Wilderness
Your group has become stranded as a result of a plane crash. Some of the party are injured and require assistance from the rest of the team to evacuate from the area and reach safety. Working together as a team you need to use effective communication, group cohesion and time management skills to move everyone safely from the region. ‘Helpful’ objects can be found en route.
Ideal for groups of 15 all the way up to 80 delegates.

Take your team Down Under
An ideal activity to get you and your team closer together. Squeeze, wriggle and climb your way through the fabulous ancient passageways at Jenolan Caves, with only your head lamp to light your way. The adventure begins with a 10 metre abseil taking you into the entrance of your first cave where you will begin the challenging task of climbing and crawling through a labyrinth of rivers and caverns naturally decorated in a sparkling calcite crystal.
Not for the claustrophobic, all equipment, lights and protective clothing are supplied but expect to get dirty. |
Give your team some Drive
The upper Blue Mountains boasts 3 fabulous Golf Courses, all within 20 minutes drive of Lilianfels. For a fun team building activity, arrange your delegates into groups of differing skill levels. Teams play best shot around the golf course, the team at the end with the lowest score wins. To raise the standards of play, hold an awards dinner in the evening and reward the best and worst players of the day.
As bookings are essential at all of the courses, let us know your preferred choice and leave the arrangements to us. |
